Aldo's new interface

Aldo diSorbo continued following closely the development of his favorite operating system through secondary school and high school. At the end of his senior year, he was more than certain that Computer Science was the only thing that mattered to him.
During his first year of college, he tried to establish a team of programmers to work with him on an alternative user interface.
After failing on gathering such a team, he tried to build it himself, while getting constant feedback from the open source community.
In 1999, Aldo already had a beta version of the interface that would impress the world with it's stability and reliability.
